NEBP can help any organisation which aims to connect young people to the world of work.
We work with and for primary and secondary schools which access our WRL (work related learning) and Enterprise Programmes. Because we have been working for many years in Northamptonshire, we are fortunate to have a database of over 600 employers supporting schools and their involvement is the key to the success of the activities.
Teachers engage with employers through our CPD Events and benefit from this interface by gaining skills, knowledge and resources for the curriculum areas they work in. This then enhances the teaching and learning in the classroom. Major employers host CPD events and benefit from raising their profile in the community.
Working with schools and employers for ten years in Northamptonshire means that we understand the WRL and Enterprise curriculum, and how Ofsted measure its effectiveness. Ofsted requires schools to provide an accurate record of work related learning, and its impact, and the WRL Audit fulfils this requirement.
For businesses and organisations who wish to communicate and work with students on specific projects as part of a community, CSR (corporate social responsibility) or education plan, we offer a bespoke Consultancy for employers’ service. This offers a range of activities including project idea, resource development, event management, school involvement, and programme evaluation.
