Northampton Education Business Partnership (NEBP) offers a brokerage service to business, organisations and schools, bringing them together in a series of work related programmes, events and training which deliver effective and measurable outcomes that benefit all involved.
NEBP (we have recently changed our name and were previously called EBLO) has been working with employers and schools in Northamptonshire for 10 years, helping young people learn about the world of work. In 2008/9 alone we worked with 47 schools, engaging 315 businesses with over 6500 students.
Businesses want to help young people but often do not know where to start, and whilst teachers want to and have to involve employers in the curriculum, in reality it is difficult and time consuming to achieve. NEBP provides the common language and the partnership working that make effective work related learning possible.
